Hosmer Veterinary Clinic recommends the following Vaccinations for pre-weaning and weaning of calves:
- Vision 7/Somnus
- Pyramid 5
- Presponse
- Mycoplasma
- Deworming
- Castrated with Knife
These are some suggestions and products that can be used:
- 7 Way (Clostridials)with Hemophilus Somnus: Vision 7/Somnus, Ultrabac 7/Somnus
- 4-way Viral (BVD, IBR, BRSV, P13)
- Modified Lived Vaccines: Pyramid 5 (Fort Dodge) Express 5 (BI), Gold 5 (Pfizer)
- Killed Vaccines(requires 2 ds): Virasheild 6 (Novartis), Triangle 6 (Fort Dodge)
- Pasteurella Multocida & Mannheimia Haemolytica: Presponse, Pulmogard, OneShot
- Deworming Pour-on Products: Ivomec, Cydectin, Dectomax
- Deworming Generic Injectable: Ivomec, Cydectin, Dectomax
- Deworming Oral: Safegard/Panacur, or Valbezan
